Pencil Pointer
Pendu pencil pointers put the same clean point on every stake, from the first piece of the shift to the last. They're built for stake producers running volume, whether those stakes are headed to survey crews, job sites, or garden centers.
They handle square or rectangular stock from ¾" to 2" thick and 20" to 72" long, at up to 2,700 stakes an hour. Air-operated clamps hold each piece steady through the cut, and a heavy-duty steel frame with guards keeps the machine running close to maintenance free.
If your material or your output falls outside that, tell us. These get built to the application, and they always have.
Three things tell us what your pointer needs to be.
Material Size: The thickness and width of the stock you're pointing, square or rectangular.
Length Range: Your shortest and longest piece.
Output: How many stakes an hour you need coming off the machine.
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I need a chisel point instead of a pencil point?
That's a different machine. Pendu builds chisel pointers as well, with a different size range and a different cutting method. Tell us which point your customer wants and we'll put you on the right one.
What if my stock is heavier or shorter than what's listed?
Tell us the dimensions. Pendu has built pointers to a range of material specs, and the sizes on this page are where the machine runs today, not the end of what's possible.
How much maintenance should I expect?
These run close to maintenance free. Heavy-duty steel frame, guards, and an air-operated clamping system.
