Blowers
Most of what Pendu builds is custom. Blowers aren't. There are three sizes built for sawmills, and you pick the one that matches the volume you're moving.
They power through sawdust, shavings, and chips on heavy-duty, rugged steel construction. Each features a ⅜” steel plate double-spoked fan for high volume, with blades balanced statically and dynamically for smooth, quiet, vibration-free operation and long life. Replaceable heavy-duty scroll sheets mean longer life and lower replacement cost when the time comes.
All three do the same job. The only difference between them is how much volume they move, and that comes down to your outlets.
One Outlet: A single machine with one 6” outlet takes the smallest blower.
Two or Three Outlets: Two or three 6” outlets step you up a size.
More Than That: Past three outlets, you're into the largest.
Tell us how many outlets you're pulling from and what size they are. That's the whole sizing conversation. Belt-driven units are available if you'd rather not run a motor drive.
Sawmill dust and waste collection: Sawdust, shavings, and chips, moved out of the mill and to wherever you're collecting it.
Adding machines to an existing line: If you've added equipment and your current blower is undersized for the outlets you're now pulling, the outlet count tells you which size you've moved into.
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which size I need?
Count your outlets and note their size. One 6 inch outlet is the smallest unit, two or three steps up, and more than that goes to the largest. It's volume, not dust type.
Do you custom build blowers?
No. This is the one line where we don't. Three sizes, built for sawmills, and that's the range.
What if my application falls outside those three?
Then we're not your best option, and we'll say so. A dedicated air collection company offers a lot more shapes and sizes for different dust types than we do. We'd rather point you there than sell you something that isn't right.
